Evanescent – by Nadir Feroz

The words danced
Involuntarily,
To
a
tune
unbeknownst to me yet

Through my eyes
Onto the infinite
Canvas of my mind

Waltzing,
they
s
t
o
p
p
e
d

As the music ended
Courting new phrases
And meanings;
They nestled

In the crevices
Away from the gazes
Benumbed and unaware
Of this beautiful I-land

And I tell them
“No –
I am not sick,
Just dyslexic”
